Meet Jeneya, known as Ney by those close to her, she balances the roles of homeschooling her daughter while running a custom cookie businesses from her home. You may even know her from administrating some of your favorite local networking groups. Originally from California, she has called Oregon home for nearly a decade now. 

 

Ney's journey to becoming a skilled cookie decorator and class instructor is a tale of resilience and passion. After a health setback during the pandemic, Ney transitioned from a 15-year career in insurance to discover her innate talent for creating edible art. Ney's dedication and creativity are some of the driving forces behind the sweet success at PDX Sugar Cookie Classes. You can find her custom cookie business, Ney's Cookie Craze nestled in the quite community of Forest Grove, OR, just west of Portland.

Meryl, affectionately known as Mem, is a dedicated individual with a passion for baking and teaching. Originally from Southern California, Meryl's baking journey began at The French Pastry School in Chicago, Illinois, where she honed her culinary skills before working as a pastry chef in both Chicago and Columbus, Ohio. After meeting her husband in Ohio, they moved close to family in Oregon to raise her family.

 

Meryl worked as synchronized swimming coach in Portland until the pandemic forced a change in her career path. She is the proud owner of Mem's Cookie Kitchen, a custom cookie shop in Sandy, OR, and has combined her love of coaching and baking with PDX Sugar Cookie Classes.
