Kids Holiday Event with a Secret Special Guest

 About this In-Person Class 

If you’re wondering what the cookie class theme is, you’re not alone! Here’s a little WHO… I mean clue… this class shall be zero fun. None. Zilch. 😜💚❤️

Join us for a delightful Kids Holiday Cookie Class! This event is designed for children aged 5+, offering a fun-filled experience where they can unleash their creativity. To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment, we kindly request that each child aged 5 to 10 be accompanied by at least one ticketed adult. For children aged 11 and older, a ticketed adult is not required, however, we do require that an adult be present throughout the entire class to supervise and provide assistance if needed.

During the Kids Holiday Cookie Class, each guest will have the opportunity to decorate four delicious cookies using an array of colorful icing and sprinkles. Our expert instructors will guide them through each step, sparking their imagination and encouraging their artistic talent. 

📣BONUS! This class will have a special guest!! Can you guess WHO?? Each guest will have a mini photoshoot session with him (or her??) done by the amazingly talented Kenzie Irene Photography. You can also enjoy a free drink (up to $7) from Time Travelers Brewery - delicious hot chocolate for the kiddos or a handcrafted brew for the adults!

This event provides a fantastic opportunity for kids to learn new decorating techniques, engage in hands-on activities, and create beautiful holiday-themed cookies to share with family and friends. We believe that creating sweet memories together is a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season.

Please note that spaces are limited, so we encourage early registration to secure a spot for your child(ren) and accompanying adult in our Kids Holiday Cookie Class. We look forward to seeing you and your little ones at this special event!

We provide everything you will need from cookies to the tools, and even a box to take your awesome creations home in - we just need YOU!

About PDX Sugar Cookie Classes! 

Who doesn’t love getting out and doing something fun while also eating delicious cookies!? That’s what PDX Sugar Cookie Classes is all about!

Our classes are based in the Pacific Northwest and cater to the beginner  and/or advanced cookier depending on the class. Whether you just want a fun date, a girls-night-out or just want to explore what cookie decorating is on your own - we have a seat for you.

For in-person class, all you will need to bring is yourself (and an apron if you are a messy decorator), and we take care of the rest. You will get a set of pre-baked cookies (pretty tasty if I do say so myself) as well as all the supplies you will need to decorate them.

Our classes are an hour and a half, and that will give us enough time to decorate the cookies and answer any questions along the way. You will leave the class with your very own box of your very own newly decorated cookies!

FAQ 

What will I be doing in the in-person class? 

Besides having the most fun ever? We will be going over some cookie facts, decorating techniques and you will be decorating your very own set of cookies that you will take home with you that day.

 Do I need to know how to bake? 

Nope! We will have the cookies pre-made for you so no need to pre-heat those ovens!

 What will we learn in class? 

You’ll learn what goes into preparing royal icing, the value of different icing consistencies, how to color icing, and tricks to fill piping bags (believe me, it’s harder than it looks). You’ll also learn different decorating techniques such as marbling, outlining, wet-on-wet, brush embroidery, and painting. Techniques will vary depending on the class and can be customized to your needs.

 What do I need to bring? 

Nothing! Everything will be provided for you including our rather tasty sugar cookies. All you need to do is join us and have fun! Messy decorator? You can bring your own apron or just wear easy-to-wash clothing.

 What age is best for cookie classes? 

Our classes are for almost any age! From youngsters to grandparents - come on in and have some cookie fun with us! Our in-person classes are great for any age; however, kiddos under 12 will need a parent taking the class as well.

 What will I bring home? 

By the end of the class, you will have created a set of gorgeous cookies ready to dry for 24-48 hours in their own box. And of course, you’ll have new skills, memories, and fun!

 Can I sign up as an individual or as a group? 

You can sign up either as an individual, with a friend, or with a whole group. The more the merrier! We are limited to a number of seats per class, so definitely sign-up ASAP! Your class ticket includes 1 kit.

 I signed up for a class but can't make it? 

We understand that life happens so that’s why we allow you to cancel up to 5 days before the class. You can always transfer your spot to a friend though (what a nice friend you are). Read below for our COVID-19 Cancellation Policies.
